Search Plug-in Now Available

We have now officially lauched the testing stage of the Carbon Neutral Search Plug-in for Firefox 2.0+ and Internet Explorer 7.0+.

Please let us know in the comments section what you think.

The following is short instructions on how to start using the search plug-in;

1. Open Firefox / Internet Explorer
2. Visit the Carbon Neutral Search Engine Home Page
3. Locate the "Google Search Box" next to the address bar in your browser, and select the "Magnifying Glass / Google Logo" pull down menu
4. From the drop-down list, select "Add 'CarbonNeutralSearch.co.uk'" or "Add 'Carbon Neutral'"
5. And, hey you might even want to make us your default search provider

Increasing to 300g Offset per Search

We are as of 2nd January 2007 increasing the amount of CO2 offset from each search to 300g minimum, up from 100g. All searches will be back dated from launch to reflect this increase.
